The Past

 


For reference, this is a photo that my mother-in-law wanted to throw away. 
I scanned this just in time and I will most likely agree to dispose of the physical photo later.
Aside from the candidness, the blur, and the apparent lack of significance, this is a window to the past. The current furniture layout we are living with is not this much subjugated to furniture but we are still living with clutter. Her children have moved out to a newer, better house but this is still their home.

It perplexes me, really. The stability, reliability, and the sense of having people to rely on.
I still am a nomad, an outsider, and a minority.

Still breezy though.
