Itoshima: Fukufuku No Sato
The second stop of the road trip: Fukufuku no Sato
A bright yellow field greeted us as we approached the second stopover; we planned to get brunch from the nearest grocery - but what happened was grabbing unique items from the store and dining al fresco by the park benches.
There was a lot of people shopping, considering it was Wednesday morning. Locally grown food has always been one of our top things to try out when visiting a new place. Aside from this, we also go food that can do away with utensils. In the end, we had a type of orange oddly shaped like that of a pear. We also had rice wrapped with egg instead of my usual onarisan.
The rental car was proving worthy of its value - we were able to access our luggage with the roomy storage at the back. There was also a sufficient supply of storage for items at the front. I grabbed the coat handed down to me months ago - an abstract embroidery of purple and yellow against a satin-like background. It went well with the colors of the field.
Kids were exploring the field already with their backpacks and nets. Parents were on the outskirts waiting patiently with their cameras for the perfect shot.
