Fukuoka: Daimyo

A bloc next to FGN (Fukuoka Growth Next), is a seafood restaurant my husband wanted to try. But alas, we were still too full from the lunch we had earlier. Daimyo was giving us Harajuku vibes - and we were right to explore.

I was thinking of staying 5-10 minutes max at each vintage shop we find but JAM Vintage has so much stock that we almost spent 30 minutes inside. There weren't a lot of 100% silk clothes but I did find a vintage paisley blouse. As for my husband, I was aiming to troll him with a parody-type cardigan - Lacoste, but not so. It was an embroidered logo of a dragon breathing fire instead. In bright red, it came in handy the next day in the crowd of Ohori Park.

Beginning to notice this window shape in a number of restaurants. What is this? Why is that?

Now I can't remember which vintage shop we visited but the staff was kind enough to tell us his recommended dinner spot.

Spot the frustrated tourist.
Here my husband is trying to see if Google Maps had failed him only to realize that the restaurant we wanted to go to has unceremoniously closed for the day.

Whenever I see a straight staircase, my mind jumps to "Flood Architecture!".  Also, with this space having a span of 4-5 meters, it reminds me of our house back in the Philippines.

And again!

The thing with having taken a lot of photos is oftentimes, the reason for taking it won't be remembered.

The staff noticed us because I was using the big-ass camera. We're just here for the ribbed acrylic on the sliding doors.
