From the Archives: Mending Trousers

Hello, I have way too many photos in my account that I have never released, and what for? Here I present, one of my favorite trousers to wear during summertime. Goes great with those oversized short-sleeved button downs I have accumulated during the past few years I've stayed in Japan.  All I know is these old soft (already pyjama-like due to so much wear and tear, I think) used to belong to my husband's paternal grandfather and here I am again keeping things from the landfill. It's a good way to use the old buttons kept by my husband's grandmother. As for the fabrics I used to cover the thinning part, it's from my mother-in-law's collection of traditional fabrics.  Photos taken on June 4, 2022
